What do Mr and Mrs Alcasid, Mr and Mrs Legaspi, and Julia Montes have in common? Needless to say that, yes, they are all tv personalities and that they have not too long ago celebrated momentous events in their lives - the Alcasids and Legaspis' wedding, and Miss Monte's debut. One more thing they have in common is that they celebrated these events with Juan Carlo - The Caterer, Inc.
After 17 years, Juan Carlo - The Caterer, Inc., decided to venture in to offering debut packages for those who would want to celebrate that very special 18th birthday and launched “Debut by Juan Carlo” last May 26, 2013 at the Fernwood Gardens. According to Juan Carlo, the son of the business’ owner-manager Engr. Alex Michael Del Rosario, “Debut” was conceptualized at the time when he would attend these coming-of-age celebrations and he realized that these occasions would always seem to have the same old routine. After doing research about what debutants want in their 18th birthday, Debut was then launched and it promised to offer something different and tailor-made to meet the wishes of the debutant (fancy a helicopter? done!), adhering to the company’s vision of being a “trendsetter in the food and catering industry in the country.”
Debut’s launch began with great food that was both feast to the eyes and to the palate, and ended with more food. There also was a Q&A portion about Debut, a presentation of the caterer’s accredited suppliers and business partners, and a fashion show that featured Edd Sy’s collection. All these within the easy ambiance of Fernwood Gardens.
The whole program went seamlessly and without a hiccup and was made more lively by that night’s emcee, Alamid’s lead vocalist, Carl McFly.
If Debut’s launch went that well, one can only imagine what it would be like if something as important as a once in a lifetime debut were to be celebrated with Juan Carlo.
